Black&White Bliss

Today has been one of those days that i'm just in the shopping mood..i feel like i can't find anything to wear and nothing fits right, so i ordered myself some new toms, because i can't find any clothes that i like and because i'm having issues with myself but like on the movie "In her shoes" when she says that clothes make her feel fat and shoes always fit just right..yeah thats my philosophy! I always feel like that! I wore my G-Star Raw jeans with them and i was walking out of class today and a random guy told me that he thought these jeans were really cool because they look like they are wax coated (they really aren't though, its just a chemical to make them look that way) and he told me that he thought they were pretty cool! I love getting compliments on my clothes especially from guys (because they don't care) Well this is my outfit for the day! enjoy! xo-tey

H&M

I'm so excited that H&M is FINALLY coming to Utah! I know it opens in November but i'm kind of neglecting my blog so i'm talking about my favorite store! It opens November 11th (Or so i have heard, the date could change) I'm way excited because one of my very best friends is going to get a new look. I'm obessed with boys dressing nice..not that this particular friend doesn't dress nice i just like different looks. I was down in Vegas and was going to get him this checkered shirt but didn't because i knew he wouldn't like it. I was on H&M one day and came across this picture and sent it to him to see if he liked it, he said yes! I was so excited because i was like yes! finally i will be able to dress you in stuff we both like (inside joke) Well this is the outfit that i absolutely love. Well today has been an excellent day. I had a math test that i aced and then i had my first ever college presentation! I wasn't nervous at all and flew right threw it but i only looked at my class once :S maybe not the best way to do a presentation but my teacher loved it! Its been a great day overall and i had to show you my outfit and my crazy hair!! The boots i'm wearing i'm absolutely obessed with! They are fergie ledger boots and oh my gosh, my ABSOLUTE fave! So i gave up on the half moon nails..tried them again and it was just an all around epic fail. So i went back to my favorite! Which is the leopard print nails! Its the sally hansen stickers! Best invention EVER! haha They are kind of pricey yes, but i found out a way to use them twice. It comes in two packs of eight. You only use one pack of eight and use both sides so you can have two uses out of it! Well here it is! enjoy! xo-tey

My whittle booties!

I'm so happy that fall is finally coming!! Its probably my favorite season because its not freezing like winter but its not hot like the summer! and of course i can wear my boots! Boots are probably my most favorite shoes in the world! They seriously can go with anything! Forever i was trying to find some commander boots, and i couldn't find them anywhere! I went to H&M in Vegas the new 3 level one..yeah..heaven! I found the perfect pair of these boots so i got them! Here is my outfit for the day! enjoy! xo-tey

Well today has been kind of one of those "wow hair..why don't you love" kind of days...my hair serioiusly was in my face all day long but i didn't want to do anything about it so i just sucked it up. A little bit ago i got myself some G-Star Raw jeans that i have been waiting to wear becasue they are way too hot for me to wear in 90-100 degree weather. Anyways i love them! They have a kind of waxy look to them, but its a chemical that makes them look that way! Oh and my ring..i was so lucky to have this ring, i got it from Aldo in Vegas and it was the last one. I had never seen one like this and i looked everywhere to find a cute triple ring. Then i came home and looked at the Aldo in SLC and they have tons of them. haha kind of funny but its my favorite ring! Anyways here is my outfit for today! enjoy! xo-tey

Never too long for me!

Today has been such a long day..school and now work, kels and i took some pictures outside of my cute long dress that i am in love with!! I seriously love long dresses! I wore one to school one day and there is this creepy older guy in my class, and the next class day he asked  me where my long dress was..and if i'm some sort of piligamist..creepy right? Looks like a half moon tonight!

After looking on thebeautydepartment.com i loved the half-moon nails! I had seen it on Rihanna in glamour magazine so i took a try at it..not great for a first time! but hey i did it myself! Starting out i put a base coat on (so your nail doesn't go a yellowish color) then a did a gold color for the base (by the way if you try it yourself my suggestion is to get the sally hansen sparkle stickers so you don't have to wait forever for it to dry), waited forever for it to dry, then i put the reinforcer stickers on, painted the main color (which is navy), and then finally the top coat for shine! Skin Care

I know women and girls are always worrying about if their skin looks good to everyone else..or at least i do..i was always so self conscious about if i had blemishes or not. My sister taught me their is more to the skin then meets the eye. She said to me that you must always take care of your skin because you don't want to look old when you are in your 20s, am i right? These are some of the most important skin care tips that she gave me...

Number 1: Always wear sunscreen on your face! As you get older you have hyperpigmentation that appears as your skin gets older and they are dark spots on your face and can be seen as dark freckles. I have a facial sunscreen from glymed. I put it on before any of my make-up and then just put my make-up on. Because my sunscreen is used as a moisturizer as well i only put that on. There is no problem if you go to the store and buy a facial sunscreen and mix it with your everyday moisturizer! it works just as good!

Number 2: Tanning. I know everyone loves to have that pretty brown color to their skin..i'm white as white so i've finally come to accept that i'm just white. Tanning is ok to a certain extent. You shouldn't go tanning more than twice a month and no longer than 10 minutes if you go to a tanning salon. Again with the hyperpigmentation, when you are older your skin will show those hyperpigmentation..so which would you rather have be white and have good skin..or be tan for a little bit and look much older when you are older? Most people don't know this fact and yes this is a true fact its even what master estheticians teach and say..one minute of tanning is eqivalent to an hour in the sun..you decide for yourself i'm just giving the hard facts.

Number 3: Always and I mean ALWAYS wash your face at night. During the day how many countless times do you touch your face? Or even the nasty stuff in the air we are exposed to? The dirt and even sweat that gets on our faces can definately cause some damage and can give you unwanted blemishes. I will admit i get lazy sometimes if i don't wash my face or even if i just get a warm wash cloth and wipe my face off. You should always wash your face with a cleanser to get all the dirt and grime off your face. Some tips for those who don't know what kind of cleanser to get in a nutshell..those who have oily skin get more of a foaming cleanser..and for those who have dry skin (like me) get more of a milky cleanser to add moisture instead of drying it out more.

Those are my top 3 tips for your facial skin care. Sorry its so much reading but i promise its good advice! I learned from my sister..so happy she is a skin care expert so i can share it with all of you! enjoy! xo-tey

Sunday Best..

Today was the day to get dressed up. I love dressing up because i have way too many high heels that dont ever see the sun! I wore my favorite black heels today. They are betsey johnson. I absolutely love her high heels! They are so comfy and can you say adorable?! Well anyways here are some pictures of my outfit and of course the shoes!

Ok then i tried something new with my hair also. Its called the twist braid. I did it on myself and by the time i left for church it had started falling out. My sister tried it on me last week with my hair curled and i didn't love it so much. Today i did love it even though it fell out. Lashes are probably one of the greatest things ever invented for women! It brings your eye out and makes it so much more noticeable! You can feel beautiful even without make-up on! Yes its true! I only wear eyeliner and its the greatest thing ever! I am proud to say that i have not worn mascara for over a year thanks to my sweet girlfriend Wendy! Enjoy! xo!

SHELLACK ATTACK!!

So today my sister Kelsey left out of town..sad day i know..she is a cosmotologist/master esthetician so she is an expert at nails! For those of you who don't know what shellac is..its a UV3 gel nail polish that literally does not chip or come off for weeks! Its all the girls in my fam's favorite! My mom was complaining that she wanted Kels to do her nails before she left to st george but that didn't happen so i offered to! They turned out really good for not doing it on anyone but myself, i love this color..its like a purpleish blue color!! My mom loved them! enjoy! xo!

So today i was thinking to myself maybe i want to start a little blog..well i want to start doing a cute little fashion blog, or you know just to post some cute little things. My sister, Ash convinced me..well i was cleaning out my closet because somehow it just exploded full of clothes and shoes..my obession right now is toms..yes i know..they are the best! My cute boy and i were at dinner one night and i was like "let's go get matching toms!" so he chose them out and i agreed and loved them just as much and i took a little picture and here they are! Cute right? Anyways back to cleaning my closet i got all my toms put together (they are so crammed!) and took a picture! My gold toms though are m.i.a...don't know where they went :( well enjoy! xo.
